The collaboration between Hair Cuttery and Krausey's Koats, a national initiative to collect winter gear for those in need garnered 6,500 coats in the Philadelpia area last year, the release said.

"This year, with the expansion of the program into other regions of the country, we hope to collect even more cold-weather clothing for those in need," said Dennis Ratner, Hair Cuttery founder and CEO in the release. "That would certainly make it a merrier holiday for all of us."
