Best Friends Fur Ever provides daycare services, overnight boarding, training programs and on-site 24 hour supervision from trained, caring professionals. The new facility will feature both indoor and outdoor “Little Dog” and “Big Dog” play areas that create a stress free environment where dogs are free to run and exercise much of the day rather than being confined to crates or fenced runs. All play areas are also equipped with doggie webcams for pet owners’ ease of mind to be able to check in on their pets remotely from home or work.

The new facility in Cockeysville will feature a canine senior assisted living program complete with special needs and assisted living wards for pets. The program provides special care and medical attention for older geriatric dogs and pets with chronic ailments. In addition to the special needs program, Best Friends Fur Ever also offers an on-site grooming salon and spa.

“We are excited to expand our doggie daycare services to the Cockeysville and Hunt Valley area,” said Kelly Cullum, owner of Best Friends Fur Ever. “For more than eight years, the Joppa facility has been providing a loving home away from home for dogs while their owners are away. We are thrilled with the success of the Joppa location and are excited to be able to serve more people and their beloved pets with the opening of our new facility.”

Best Friends Fur Ever renovated a former office building at the intersection of Beaver Dam Rd. and Cockeysville Rd. to transform the space into the new doggie daycare facility.  Once complete, the new project will create 15 full-time jobs and 15 part-time jobs in Cockeysville. Combined, Best Friends Fur Ever’s two facilities will employ more than 60 people.

Best Friends Fur Ever opened its first location in Joppa, MD in 2004 at 1009 Philadelphia Road. Since its inception, the 8000-square-foot facility has serviced thousands of dogs. Best Friends Fur Ever supports various charitable partners across the region, including Fallston Animal Rescue, The Maryland Troopers Association and Luna’s House Animal Care and Education Center. Best Friends Fur Ever also offers a 10% discount to all first responders and military members at both locations.
