โ€˜Fed-upโ€™ Political Group Claims Progress on Changing Maryland

Change Maryland says it has more Facebook followers than Gov. Martin O'Malley, whom it challenges often.

As 2013 draws to a close, many people are hoping for change in the new year.

Change Maryland describes itself as a non-partisan grassroots citizen-activist organization and is made up of more than โ€œ70,000 fed-up Democrats, Independents, and Republicans from every corner of the state,โ€ according to their blog.

The organization details its progressโ€”including adding 40,000 membersโ€”this past year in the blog post: Best of Change Maryland - 2013.

โ€œWeโ€™ve also been working non-stop throughout 2013 to continue raising awareness of the issues our state faces and the economic decline that the last seven years of misguided policies have given us.โ€
