Plug into the Green Movement Locally

Green Living? What does that even mean?  To me, it is consideration of the environmental impacts of my lifestyle and making conscious choices.  Everything we purchase and every action we take has an impact on the health of our planet.  Finding contentment with less has shifted my personal priorities and ambitions, once I realized how my diet, home, transportation, and consumption habits require unsustainable levels of exploitation of the natural world.

Green Drinks describes itself as an organic, self-organizing network.  With chapters all over the country and the nation, Green Drinks is simply a happy hour where those working in the environmental field gather, network and socialize. Our local chapter hosts speakers with expertise in environmental advocacy

Timonium Green Drinks mission is to promote "Living Clean & Green" and to be the place to get local information on how to "Go Green" and to help educate others to live an environmentally responsible life.

The eighth Timonium Green Drinks Green Social Network event will take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:30 PM.

The Maryland Green Show is hosted on November 6-7th by the Home Builders Association of Maryland and the Maryland Residential Green Building Council. At the Maryland State Fairgrounds, the weekend long event states it's mission is 'to educate the public on how in these tough economic times, going green can save green!'
