VIDEO: Rescued Horses Now in Good Condition

The two Tennessee Walking horses were taken from a neglectful owner in September .

Two horses at a Hereford Farm are now in good condition, according to Fran Burns, a spokeswoman for Angel Acres Horse Haven Rescue, which rehabbed the pair.

"Both are doing well," she said. "What a huge difference now."

Patch previously reported that the Tennessee Walking horses, one a mare and the other a gelding, were taken when went to check on their conditions after receiving a call from a concerned constituent. Huff then contacted , which had the horses' owner surrender them in September.

At the time, , a spokesman for the Baltimore County Health Department, which oversees animal control, said the horses were in bad shape.

The owner had previously been fined for neglecting the horses, according to animal control.
