Why the Chitlin' Circuit Stopped in North Brentwood (hyattsvillewire.com) β North Brentwood's historic Sis' Tavern, once a key stop on the Chitlin' Circuit, has been restored with help from the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation and grant funding. The former juke joint that hosted legends like Duke Ellington is now available for private event rentals, keeping local Black cultural history alive while offering a unique nearby gathering space.
