Bill Cosby is facing a litany of allegations that accuse him of sexually harassing and raping a number of women. This is not the first time that well known and respected actor Cosby has been accused of sexual abuse.
A decade ago, he was alleged to have taken Andrea Constand to his Pennsylvania home where he was said to have drugged her and perform sexual acts while she was unconscious, according to CNN. Although no charges were filed, Cosby settled a civil suit with Constand regarding sexual abuse.
Due to lack of evidence in over five cases alleging that Cosby sexually abused women, he has not been charged with any crimes. Many believe that Cosby is guilty of such acts due to a number of recent reports regarding such abuse and his refusal to deny allegations.

Cosby’s new “Bill Cosby, 77” is still listed as available on the Netflix website but will not be premiered on the expected date. NBC has also ceased plans for its own Cosby project and TV Land has removed the Bill Cosby sitcom from its channel as well as its website.
“It’s really hard to accept the fact that people are even trying this hard to ruin such a fatherly icon,” said Howard University sophomore political science major Taylor Gilbert. “I grew up watching him, so did my parents.”

Allegations keep mounting up, tarnishing Cosby’s fatherly image.
“I honestly don’t even think ‘innocent until proven guilty’ is enforced at all in the U.S., especially when it comes to blacks,” said graduating senior Donna Hope. “When a black man is accused of a crime, he’s automatically guilty in the American eye.”
