Chipotle Addiction Renewed. Thank you Hyattsville Arts District!

Yesterday was the and while I originally planned to take myself there I was a bit fearful that I would meet hectic lines of Chipotle fiends, that I am myself. As a visitor to other Chipotles in Greenbelt and College Park, I was ready to meet congested parking and horrendous lines during the dinner rush hour. The surprise was that not only was more than enough free parking available for those of us that are not exactly in walking distance, but those that are in walking distance were taking full advantage of the temporary dry weather.

The outdoor seating was not in place tonight, and I am assuming it was due to the stormy weather that has been coming and going today. Once I walked in I wasn’t shocked that the line was very long, but moving at a fair pace for a newly opened restaurant. It took about ten minutes of wait time in line to get my meal and once I did it fulfilled my weekly need of Chipotle. I don’t know if they are overdoing it with the food portion or just making every Chipotle patron's dream come true, that while yes we have to pay extra for guacamole, we will get more than enough to hit every spot of rice in the chicken burrito bowl.

As for the space inside, I did order my food to go, but I love the new look for Chipotle. The long family style table closest to the fountain drink dispenser and the amazing wood work, was something I was not expecting to see but loved. I can also give a kudos for the use of
LED drop lights, not only are they very stylish, but gives off the environmentally friendly vibe that every franchise store should look into doing with their new locations. I already know that I will be a regular here, since like I said before the addiction needs to be satisfied at least once weekly.
