An exhibit titled The Love of Artistic Expressionsis now showing through Oct. 15 at the Prince George's Arts Council building lobby, with a closing reception set for Oct. 13. Refreshments will be served. The exhibit, which celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month, features local artists Marite Vidales and Rafael Corzo.
Vidales was born in San José, Costa Rica, where she graduated from the School of Fine Arts of the University of Costa Rica and now resides in Beltsville, Md. Her work reflects a passion for symbols and colors. Corzo, who was born in Mexico City, now resides in Laurel, Md., and is an artist and undergraduate art student at the Maryland Institute College of Art. His art tends to be figurative with emotional qualities.
