First Annual Miss Maryland and DC Plus America Pageant

Saturday April 25th - Suitland High School, 5200 Silver Hill Road, District Hieghts MD 20747

Come watch as 13 women from around the Washington DC and Maryland area vie for the Miss Maryland and DC Plus America title in the On-Stage Competition.

Contestants from three age divisions will compete in categories such as Elegant Pants Wear, On Stage Question, and Evening Gown.

A separate Optional Competition will be held as well. Optional competition categories will include: talent, model/runway and creative costume.

The Miss Plus America™ Pageant is designed to be a personal development opportunity for women of size. The delegates who become a part of this wonderful organization gain confidence and poise in an increasingly competitive world. The pageant affords each delegate the opportunity to grow and advance her personal and career goals while acting as a role model in her community.

Delegates who successfully win state titles in the Miss Maryland and D.C. Plus America Pageants will go on to compete in the national Miss Plus America Pageant this August in Atlanta Georgia.

• 4:30 pm – Doors open
• 5 pm – Optional competition
• 6 pm – Intermission
• 7 pm – Pageant
