Giving Small Businesses a Bigger Advantage

Local companies collaborate to teach PG County businesses how to compete for and win seven-figure government contracts

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD April 25, 2014-  nTuitive nGen, a local woman-owned small business specializing in government contracting education, and PGCo Work and Tonia Wellons, Founder and Managing Director of PGCSIF & Forty UNDER 40 Prince George's County will be offering a workshop entitled “Preparing Your Offer” a workshop to teach small businesses about GSA Schedule opportunities. Attendees will participate in engaging dialogue and lessons on understanding the GSA Schedules Program and eligibility requirements, streamlining the proposal process to produce a high-quality offers/bids, managing and marketing a GSA contract and  more. The workshop will be held on Saturday April 26, 2014 in Hyattsville, MD

“It’s time for small business to play in the big leagues,” Tami Mullen Managing Partner of nTuitive nGen says. “The most essential part of the government contracting process is preparation. If a company, no matter the size, is properly educated and prepared about the GSA Schedules Program, they can really create their competitive advantage. This workshop is empowering small businesses by getting them ready for six and seven- figure contracts and preparing them for high visibility and growth”.

The workshop will be held at PGCo Work, a new and first of its kind Co-Work space in Prince George’s County.  The space offers not only collaborative space for small businesses, but also technical assistance in and around the county and serves as part of a larger vision for non-profit and for-profit businesses working socially and strategically in the community. The goal of this workshop is to inform, prepare and collaborate for growth.
