Hyattsville Shooting Victim Dies 2 Years Later From Complications
A victim from a 2015 shooting in Hyattsville died from his injuries two years later, police said. Detectives still searching for suspects.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — A victim from a 2015 shooting in Hyattsville died from his injuries two years later, Prince George's County police announced.
Delonio Richburg, 22, of Annapolis, was shot two years ago on July 26, 2015. He passed away July 1, 2017, police said.
On that day in July 2015, police responded to the 3500 block of Hubbard Rd. in Hyattsville for the report of a shooting. Officers discovered two victims outside suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital in critical condition but were later released, police said.

Over two years later on July 1, 2017, Richburg was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment and died, police said. An autopsy later revealed that he died from complications of the shooting.
Detectives are still working to establish a motive and to identify the suspect(s) in this case. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
