Murder Charge Filed in Landover Shooting

Prince George's County Police are searching for at least two more suspects in the case and asking for tips from the public.

Even with one man in custody in connection with Sunday’s murder in Landover, Prince George’s County Police are searching for additional suspects.

Edward Moore, 23, of the 2500 block of Kirtland Avenue in District Heights was arrested Wednesday in Northeast Washington, D.C. Authorities have charged him with first-degree murder in the death of Felando Deon Johnson, 39, of Henderson, NC.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment of additional suspects, police say.

Johnson was found with gunshot wounds Sunday night in the 2400 block of Greeley Place. He died a short time later at a hospital. A second victim was also shot; that man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

Investigators say Moore and at least two other suspects were involved in Johnson’s murder, which likely began as a robbery. Moore remains in custody in Washington pending extradition to Prince George’s County.
