Murder Charges Filed in Brawl; Three Others Injured
An argument between two Hyattsville men led to both suffering stab wounds, with one fatality, police say.

LANHAM, MD — A fight between two Hyattsville men injured two others, left one man dead and a fourth in the hospital awaiting murder charges.
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has charged Gregorio Davidson, 24, of the 7000 block of Highview Terrace in Hyattsville in Friday’s melee. The victim is Kendal Joseph, 27, of Lewisdale Drive in Hyattsville.
Police were called about 4:30 a.m. Friday to the 4900 block of Whitfield Chapel Road in Lanham for the report of a fight. Officers found Joseph suffering from stab wounds. He died a short time later at a hospital.

Investigators say Joseph and Davidson argued, which escalated into the fatal stabbing. The suspect and two other victims were also injured during the fight; the two victims suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Davidson remains hospitalized in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status. He is charged with first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault and related charges.
