Murder Victim Found Lying In Hyattsville Driveway: Police
An unidentified man was found dead lying in a driveway in Hyattsville, police said.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — A man was found dead in the driveway of a home in Hyattsville early Tuesday morning, police said. Officers deemed the incident as a homicide.
At around 4:30 a.m., officers responded to a "check on the welfare" call in the 7100 block of East Lombard Street. When officers responded to the call, they found an unidentified man lying unresponsive on the ground, police said.
The man was murdered and suffered trauma to the upper body, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

"For something like this to happen, it hurts all of us," said neighbor Theresa Mitchell to NBC Washington. "That's somebody's son, that's somebody's nephew, that's somebody's grandson who was laying on the ground on a rainy, wet Tuesday morning."
