Weather Alert: Prince George's County Under Flash Flood Warning
Low-lying areas are at risk of flooding, National Weather Service reports.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Prince George’s County, effective until 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
The north central part of Prince George’s County is included in Tuesday’s flash flood warning, along with parts of Montgomery and Howard counties. Approximately 2 inches of rain have fallen in parts of Montgomery County, where some roads have reportedly been closed. An additional inch may fall this afternoon, according to the weather service.
Flash flooding may occur in low-lying areas such as underpasses, streams and creeks, according to the weather service. If you see standing water while you’re driving, turn around—don’t drown.
