The transition officially took effect on June 18, 2026. For nearly 20 years, Kaizen Painters has built its reputation on quality workmanship, dependable service, and long-standing customer relationships. Founder Dave Joynt is retiring and will remain involved as an advisor during the transition. On a small island in Maine’s Belgrade Lakes, campers live unplugged—without electricity or running water. They gain the freedom to make meaningful choices, the support of a community grounded in shared values, and enough time away from home to feel both independent and integral to a unique community they help build. Whether your son is shy or outgoing, big or small, Pine Island will challenge him to bring out his best in the simple joys and varied circumstances of outdoor living.
