• Howard County Launches Free 24/7 Naloxone Vending Machines (92q.com) — Jessup residents can now anonymously pick up free naloxone and drug-checking supplies 24/7 from a new outdoor vending machine at the Grassroots Day Resource Center on Guilford Road. The county installed just two of these machines, one in Jessup and one in Columbia, to reduce overdose deaths and connect people with treatment resources using local overdose data to choose the sites.

• Maryland's state flags are made by incarcerated women at a Jessup correctional facility (wmar2news.com) — Many of the Maryland and U.S. flags you see around the state are actually sewn by incarcerated women at the Maryland Correctional Institution for Women in Jessup.
