• Hearing set on proposed Kennedyville solar project (somdnews.com) — A major 3‑megawatt community solar project is proposed along Augustine Herman Highway in Kennedyville, and state regulators want to hear what you think. The Maryland Public Service Commission will hold an in‑person and virtual hearing Oct. 15, with written comments accepted through Oct. 19, giving Kennedyville and Kent County residents several ways to weigh in on the plan.
