Area Schools Will Remain on Full-Day Schedule, Evening Activities Canceled

Updated, 2 p.m.: Montgomery County Public Schools sent out an alert at 1 p.m. to announce the cancellation of evening activities. All school-sponsored afterschool and evening activities are cancelled for Thursday.

Original Post: The snow has started to fall and stick, but Montgomery County Public Schools are staying in session.

Shortly after 12 p.m., MCPS sent out an alert stating that schools will remain on its regular full day schedule today. The decision about evening activities has not been made yet, but should be announced soon.
