Old Town Christmas

    The  Kensington  old  town  Christmas  open  house

       is  here  and  thriving  again  this  year.  The

     aromas  of  local  restaurants  welcome  one  and  all

        to  participate  in  the  festivites.  Every  antique  shop

     is  open  with  treasures  of  eras  we  know  only  from  history  books

         and  our  grandparents  stories.  Fine  cut  glass, oil  lamps

     from  a  time  before  the  use  of  electricity,  Queen  Anne  tables,

         couches  and  rocking  chairs  which  we  might  have  sat  in
     during  a  time  while  visiting  our  grandparents  homes . . .

          carolers  bringing  us  remembrances  of  a  simpler  in  which  to  live.

    Come  join  this  celebration  with  me  on  a  chilled  December  evening.

         Enjoy  stories,  poetry  or  chess  at  Eli's  Bookshop  or  perhaps

    a  libation  might  tip  your  old  Boaler  hat!
