Candidates' Forum Held Tonight
The Town of Kensington will host a candidates' forum at the town hall.
After tonight's town hall meeting, the five candidates running for a town council seat will meet at the Kensington Armory for a candidates' forum.
The forum will run approximately 90 minutes and will be moderated by a town resident. Candidates Mackie Barch, Julie OโMalley, Barry Peoples, Stowe Teti and John Thompson will participate in the forum.
During the forum, the audience can submit questions for the candidates on note cards. The moderator will ask the submitted questions, and each candidate will be able to answer during a timed response period. Each candidate will also have the opportunity for an opening an closing statement, which will also be timed.
