Charter Amendments on Agenda for Town Hall Meeting

Members of the town council will discuss amendments to the town's charter.

Mayor Peter Fosselman and town council members will gather at the Kensington Armory for the bi-weekly town hall meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday.

Tonight's agenda will include discussing proposed amendments to the town's charter and then voting on those amendments. , the council voted unanimously to keep the public record open for two more weeks in order to receive more comments on the subject.

The proposed changes to the Town Charter would allow the council to act on ordinances in 15 days instead of the current 28 days.

Additionally, the council will approve minutes from the last meeting and allow residents to speak on items not on the evening's agenda.
