Some Enchanted Evening: A Benefit for the Noyes Children's Library

A magical night of dancing and dining will benefit the Noyes Children's Library Foundation. Some Enchanted Evening: A Benefit for the Noyes Children's Library, will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010, at Glen Echo Park's Spanish Ballroom (7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo, Maryland), 8-11PM. Congressman Christopher Van Hollen, along with Grammy award-winning musicians Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer, are honorary chairs for the fundraising gala. Partygoers will be treated to the best of ballroom dancing: demonstrations, instruction and opportunities to waltz, swing and more, all led by "Mad Hot Ballroom" star Alex Tchassov and partner Sally Blenkey-Tchassova, along with the Radio King Orchestra. The evening also includes a silent auction of one-of-a-kind items and opportunities, with a light buffet, dessert and wine. Proceeds from the gala will go directly to efforts to save the historic Noyes Children's Library, located in Kensington, Maryland. Tickets cost $75 per person.
