A 9/11 memorial will be dedicated on Saturday, June 25 at the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department. A one-ton, 16 foot tall piece of metal from the remains of the World Trade Center structure will be placed at the Fire Department in recognition of the response by the KVFD to the 9/11 disaster. Speakers and guests will include Congressman Chris Van Hollen and Mayor Pete Fosselman.
