Ex-Marine Rapes Girlfriend, Kills Her Dog In Montgomery County: Reports

A former U.S. Marine living in Kensington was arrested for allegedly raping his girlfriend and killing her dog, according to reports.

KENSINGTON, MD — A former U.S. Marine living in Kensington was arrested for allegedly raping his girlfriend and killing her dog, according to reports.

Anthony Russell Junior, 39, is accused of choking his girlfriend's dog with a leash and then stabbing the dog to death during a walk outside of the Montgomery Century Condominiums in Kensington, WJLA reports.

Russell then allegedly punched, strangled and raped his girlfriend using rope, court documents show.

"If I was really beating you, you wouldn't last one punch," Russell allegedly told his girlfriend, according to court documents. "You can breath, stop faking it."
