Five Community Members Hope to Fill Two Council Seats

Five members of the Kensington community will run for two town council positions in the June 2011 election.

At Monday night's town hall meeting, town manager Sanford Daily announced the residents who will run for town council for the 2011-2013 term. Mackie Barch (current council member) John Thompson, Julie O'Malley, and will run for county council.

, to submit a nomination form at the town hall. Elections will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the town hall.
