Fosselman Accused of Fraud in Lawsuit
Investor claims the mayor used her $35,000 to advance political agenda, the Gazette reports.

Kensington Mayor Peter Fosselman is accused of defrauding a woman who invested $35,000 in a restaurant he co-owned, the Gazette reported.
Anna Suarez filed a lawsuit in November, claiming Fosselman and his partner, Duane Rollins, accepted her investment in the now-closed Cafe 1894 and promised and annual return that was never delivered, according to the Gazette.
Fosselman and Rollins had no comment for the paper, but their attorney,ย Sandy David Baron, said they deny Suarez's allegations and plan to fight the suit.

Suarez is requesting $250,000 in the suit. Her attorney,ย John Flyger, is the husband of Kensington Town Councilmember Lydia Sullivan, the Gazette reported.
