Welcome back to our weekly rundown of five local deals to help with your family’s bottom line. Since we do the scouting, we save you time as well as money.
This week, we scoured our local sources and found a meal deal—for less than half price! We also found a deal to earn free gas while you shop (all summer long); meal discounts for students; savings on women's fashions and more. Remember to check with the merchant for additional conditions, if any.

Deal: Pick up a $10 meal gift certificate for just $2.50 (or a $25 gift certificate for $5.00), when purchased through CouponCabin.com and Restaurant.com (discount reflected in cart).

2. Earn Free Gas: , 3715 University Blvd. W., 301-962-8090 (and other locations).
Deal: CVS ExtraCare Rewards members can earn a $10 gift card to Exxon/Mobil, Shell, BP Amoco or BP Arco every week this summer when you spend $30 on items with the gas tank logo (marked on store shelves and in the weekly CVS/pharmacy circular). Rewards program membership is free.
Good through: August 28.

Deal: Save 50 percent on already-reduced items, 40 percent on sportswear, 30 percent on special occasion dresses and more during its summer sale.

4. Student Meal Discount: Qdoba Mexican Grill, 128 Rollins Ave., Rockville, 301-358-2271.
Deal: Students save 50 percent off menu prices on Tuesdays (must present student ID). Also (student or not), you can get a free chips and salsa or a drink by signing up for its rewards club.
Good through: Ongoing on Tuesdays, noon to 8 p.m. Offer available at Rockville location only.
5. Auto Service: Logan's Automotive, 10241 Kensington Pkwy., 301-946-0600.
Deal: Get the car ready for summer with an oil change for $21.95, an air conditioning check for $15 off, or take $25 off on any service of $100 or more, when you use its MoneyMailer coupons.
Good through: Coupons valid through June 25.
