The Kensington Historical Society's concert series continues Saturday in Howard Avenue Park with world beat outfit 2nd Story Band. Across the street is the farmers market, so you can get your local produce and local music on the same block. The show starts at 10 a.m.

The church has collected school supplies and backpacks to donate to needy kids in the county. Now, they need the community's help in putting it all together. After Sunday's 10:30 a.m. service, St. Paul's is serving lunch for volunteers who come by and put together backpacks for students. You can find more information at the church's website.
