Friday, July 8:

The weekend-long festival will host events celebrating Colombian culture, the legacy of the Peace Corps, and rhythm and blues. Each day features food, workshops and evening concerts. For the full schedule, go here.

Saturday, July 9: Summer Concert Series

The Kensington Historical Society's concert series continues Saturday in Howard Avenue Park with Janine Wilson and Max Evans, who will bring their roots rock sound to the park. Across the street is the farmers market, so you can get your local produce and local music on the same block. The show starts at 10 a.m.

Sunday, July 10:

Bethesda's Imagination Stage is hosting performances for children, including a production of The Window in the Willows, based on the book by Kenneth Grahame. Sunday's shows are at 1:30 and 4 p.m. Visit Imagination Stage's website for tickets.
