Tony and Emmy award-winner and acclaimed performer Mandy Patinkin will sing songs by Irving Berlin, Stephen Sondheim and others, accompanied by Paul Ford. Enjoy a rare opportunity to catch the actor/singer/storyteller in concert off-Broadway.

The concert series kicks off its second week with a performance by Old School Country Bluegrass, from 10-11 a.m. in the Howard Avenue Park across from the Farmers Market at the Kensington Train Station. Presented by the Kensington Historical Society. Free.

Painting, jewelry, photography, wood, pottery, blown glass and more will be on display and for sale, as you enjoy live music throughout the day. The market will be held on Norfolk Avenue, between Fairmont and St. Elmo avenues, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free parking is available in the Woodmont Avenue/Old Georgetown Road parking garage.

Sunday, June 12: Mormon Choir Summer Pops Concert

The Mormon Choir presents "Variety," a summer pops concert featuring four different genres: patriotic songs, stage numbers, religious music and popular tunes. Selections include the medley from Les Miserables; "You'll Never Walk Alone," "Summertime," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and more. Guest performers include Sandra Turley and her daughter, Ava, and noted trombonist Richard Orr. , 9900 Stoneybrook Dr., 7 to 8:15 p.m. Free.
