From 12 to 7 p.m. head to Glen Echo Park for a folk festival. Enjoy a variety of music including bluegrass, Celtic, blues, and old-time music and other international traditions. The event is free and open to the public.

Sunday, June 5:

Take a stroll with the Kensington Historical Society through seven gardens within walking distance of Flinn Park (across from the ). The walk will feature gardens that posed landscaping challenges for the homeowners. The tour costs $15 and begins at 1 p.m.

Sunday, June 5:

Wondering what to do with that old cell phone, iPod, printer or computer? Pop by from 12 to 4 p.m. to recycle some of those items. Other donation items can be microwaves, VCRs, digital cameras, electronic toys and more.
