Observe Memorial Day by attending a small event at Ernest Park.
Poet Laureate Richard H. Rice will recite a poem, and veterans or friends or famlies of those lost in foreign wars are invited to speak at the observance. The event will start at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 30.
The Memorial Day Observance, an event run by the residents of Kensington, is free and open to the public.
