Police Say Missing Kensington Man Found Safe: UPDATE

KENSINGTON, MD — In a Friday afternoon update, Montgomery County officials say Aaron Ray Watkins has been located and is safe.


(Original post) KENSINGTON, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a missing Kensington man.

Aaron Ray Watkins, 24, of the 10000 block of Meredith Ave., was reported missing by his family on Monday, according to a police spokeswoman. Watkins regularly keeps in touch with his family. However, relatives have not heard from him in the last three to four weeks.

Investigators describe Watkins as a 6-foot-2, 135-pound African American male with brown eyes and black hair. Police say he uses an electric wheelchair for mobility and frequently takes public transportation.

Police and family members are concerned for his emotional and physical wellbeing.
