Proceeds From Sales of New Town of Kensington Poster to Benefit Noyes Library

A charming map of the Town of Kensington in Maryland by local artist Jim Haynes will go on sale in September 2015.

A charming map of the Town of Kensington in Maryland by local artist Jim Haynes will go on sale in September 2015. The Town commissioned the 22” x 28” illustrated color poster, which depicts streets, buildings, and green space in the Town of Kensington and environs.

The posters will be for sale at the Paint the Town art show (September 5-7 at Kensington Town Hall, 3710 Mitchell St., Kensington, MD 20895) and the annual Noyes Foundation/Kensington Historical Society train show (September 12-13 at Kensington Town Hall). The 500 copies of the poster are $5 each.

Proceeds from sales of the poster are being donated to the Noyes Children’s Library Foundation.
