Proclamation for Poet Laureate, Resolution for Sidewalk on Council Agenda

At 7 p.m. the Kensington Town Council will assemble at the armory for its bi-weekly meeting.

Tonight's agenda includes a proclamation to the town's first Poet Laureate, Richard H. Rice, who was announced during Kensington's Day of the Book Festival on Sunday, April 17.

Additionally, the council will discuss passing a resolution in support of building a sidewalk to connect Capitol View to the town along Plyers Mill Road.
