Town Will Discuss Moderately Priced Housing

If the resolution is adopted, Kensington's municipal code would mirror Montgomery County's moderately priced dwelling unit law, which allows families with annual household incomes between $30,000 and $81,500 to rent reduced-price apartments around the county.

The measure is last of the three things the Planning, Housing and Economic Development Committee asked the town to consider as the county reviews Kensington's proposed sector plan. The others were the plan's design guidelines and the "Village Center" concept, which .
