This installment of Strathmore's Backyard Theater for Children features Eastern European music-and-dance group Baryny, which offers a slice of Russian gypsy culture. The band will play at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m., and tickets are $8.

BSO SuperPops: A Gershwin Celebration

Indulge in the best of George Gershwin's jazzy compositions with this piano-and-vocal performance. Pianist Carl Topilow and soprano Kishna Davis will pay tribute to the legendary composer on the Music Center's stage. The concert begins at 8 p.m., and tickets range from $25 to $50.
