Upcoming at the Strathmore

A weekly update on what's to come at the Strathmore.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, featuring violinist Karen Gomyo, will perform selections from Mahler, Sibelius and Walton. Carlos Kalmar will conduct. Before the performance, attend a free Symphonic Explorations lecture offered in partnership with the Levine School of Music. Register to reserve a seat for the lecture.

Ellen Tennenbaum will play the piano while guests enjoy a light lunch and some afternoon tea in the Shapiro Music Room at the Strathmore. Be sure yo reserve your spot.

June 1: Pam Parker Quartet

At 7:30 p.m. jazz vocalist Pam Parker and her band will perform as part of Art After Hours. The event will take place in the mansion.

June 2: Emanuel Ax

Conductor Marin Alsop will conduct the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and pianist Emanuel Ax as they perform selections from Osvaldo Golijov, Britten and Brahms. A pre-concert lecture with David Ginder will take place at 7 p.m.
