Oct. 8: Friday Night Eclectic
Friday Night Ecletic kicks off with Stripmall Ballads performing the folk opera The Perfect Pipe Bomb. The opera tells the story of Jane and John Doe through puppetry.
Oct. 9: Mosaic Stepping Stones

This adult education workshop will last three sessions. Students will learn the basics of creating a mosaic, u techniques, cutting, grouting and the history of mosaics. Every student will complete a 12 inch square stepping stone by the end of the course.
Oct. 11: Celebration of the Guitar

Education at the Strathmore presents a celebration of the guitar in America. The lecture and concert is the opening education event for the Strathmore's yearlong guitar festival. Phil Mathieu, guitarist and educator, will discuss the development of the guitar and the concert will feature music from iconic guitarists including Les Paul, William Foden and more.
Oct. 12 and 13: Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea is served in the Shapiro Music Room at the Strathmore Mansion. Tea is specially made for the Strathmore by Master Tea Blender John Harney, and is served with a light lunch.
Oct. 14: Bach's Mass in B minor
Ithaca College presents Bac's Mass in B minor. The Ithaca College Choir and Faculty and student chamber orchestra will perform under the wand of conductor Lawrence Doebler. Soprano's Carol McAmis, Deborah Montgomery-Cove and Patrice Pastore, mezzo-soprano Jennifer Kay and tenor David Parks will sing.
