• Commanders' Northwest Stadium is now among the NFL's oldest stadiums (usatoday.com) — Northwest Stadium in Landover home of the Washington Commanders, is now one of the NFL’s oldest venues and could soon rank even higher as other teams consider moves. The team plans to leave Landover for a new D.C. stadium by 2030, ending more than three decades of games, traffic, and fan memories centered around the Landover site.
   

• Afro Plus Fest Is Back Again — and Turning Up the Volume (washingtoninformer.com) — This Labor Day weekend, Afro Plus Fest is moving into Northwest Stadium in Landover bringing three days of Afro-Caribbean and hip-hop performances, food, fashion, and a huge economic boost. Organizers expect about 120,000 fans, expanded vendor opportunities for local businesses, and a packed lineup featuring global stars alongside DMV artists, all centered right in Prince George’s County.
