• 18-Year-Old Charged With Murder After Fatal Shooting Of 36-Year-Old Largo Man During Argument (thebaynet.com) — Prince George’s County police have charged 18-year-old Eu’nyus Maddox of Largo with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 36-year-old housemate Levelle Mills, also of Largo, after an argument at their Mt. Lubentia Court East residence. Officers responded Monday afternoon, found Mills with a gunshot wound, and arrested Maddox at the scene; detectives are still seeking additional information from the public.
   

• Man convicted of killing local activist Cornelius McDonald outside Largo restaurant (dcnewsnow.com) — A jury has convicted 37-year-old Terrelle Bailey of second-degree murder for the 2024 shooting of anti-violence activist Cornelius “Neil” McDonald outside Jasper’s Restaurant in Largo. McDonald, a Largo High School graduate and youth mental health advocate, was killed after an argument with Bailey, and prosecutors plan to seek the maximum sentence at his December hearing.
