Laurel police have charged two Baltimore men with trafficking three girls for prostitution.

LAUREL, MD — Laurel police have charged two Baltimore men with trafficking three girls for prostitution. The case began when officers were called to a local hotel Jan. 11 for a report about drugs, and found three girls — ages 15 16 and 17 — whom police believed were being trafficked for prostitution.

The girls were taken to the Laurel Police Department until Child Protective Services could take custody of the teenagers. Detectives identified Sean Dean, 25, and Gerald Dawayne Marshall, 28, both of Baltimore, as the individuals responsible for the human trafficking of the juveniles.

Arrest warrants were issued for Dean and Marshall charging them with three counts of human trafficking and two counts of prostitution-under 16, officials said in a news release. The suspects were arrested Feb. 6. They were taken to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections, and are being held without bond.
