Safety Reminders

  • Check on your elderly neighbors and offer any assistance they may need.
  • Stay off the roads. The pavement may be deceiving, but there will be plenty of black ice out there which your vehicle will slip and slide on.
  • If you must venture out by foot, wear bright clothing so our plows, salt trucks, and other motorists can see you.
  • Check your neighborhood fire hydrants to get 3 feet of clearance all around them if you can.
  • If you see water pooling near a known storm drain, shovel that out too.
