According to authorities, Ordonez and Rodriguez were among a group of teens who met around 11 p.m on Saturday in the 9000 block of North Laurel Road for a coordinated drug deal when there was an altercation and one shot was fired from a car window. The suspects left in a black sedan, police said.

Through investigation, officials said they learned Ordonez and Rodriguez were involved in the shooting. Police found them in a black Nissan Altima early Monday morning on Harvest View Court in Ellicott City, where authorities reported there was a handgun in the car, and the suspects were arrested.
