They just don't make them like they used to" - while this could be said about most things these days, it is especially true when it comes to hardback books. Once embellished with embossing, gilt and artwork, books were valued as much for their outer beauty as their inner beauty. Reason enough to rescue a few from the flea market and turn them into a work of art! Students will create a scrapbook (or journal - your choice) using an old book for the front and back cover, complete with pages embellished with various Jenni Bowlin Studio products and vintage ephemera. All materials will be completely provided (but students are welcome to bring anything special they might wish to add). A vintage book will be provided to each student.
