Howard County Library Celebration Draws A Crowd

Approximately 100 people packed the Howard County Library System's Central Branch in Columbia Tuesday night for the annual A+ Plus Partners in Education Program celebration.

Families and students joined local officials from Howard County in celebrating the A+ Partners in Education initiative on Oct. 25.

Established in 2002, the partnership integrates library programming throughout the Howard County public school curriculum by way of educational activities and events.

The ceremony at the East Columbia branch centered around students who had won awards as part of the A+ Partners in Education program, and was well attended by library personnel, school administrators and elected officials.
