Local Ice Skaters Present 'Frozen On Ice' At Laurel Arena
The cast includes local skaters from age four to adult who integrate skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced national medalists.

LAUREL, MD — The Gardens Figure Skating Club will present its annual spring ice show Frozen on Ice with four planned shows on Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 29, at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Gardens Ice House Patrick Arena, 13800 Old Gunpowder Rd., Laurel.
Frozen on Ice is a figure skating show based on "Frozen - the Broadway Musical." Spectators will discover how, when their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, fearless Anna joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff to find Anna's sister, Snow Queen Elsa, and together they break her icy spell.
The cast includes local skaters from age four to adult who integrate skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced national medalists. Many of the skaters compete in the U.S. Figure Skating system including national level showcase, theater on ice and synchronized skating competitions.
The event is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating, the governing body for figure skating in the United State.

“Frozen on Ice is one of the best shows we've done over the last decade. From the choreography to the caliber of skating to the sets and costuming, Frozen on Ice will appeal to all, young and old," said Jacques Gilson, artistic director.
Tickets will be on sale at the door for $15 for general admission along with a limited number of special reserved seats available for $20. General admission tickets are available online for $15 at http://www.seatyourself.biz/gardensfsc. Children under three are admitted for free.
