Major Gas Outage In Laurel: Report
Crews are working to restore service to customers after hundreds of homes lost access to gas.

LAUREL, MD -- More than 100 residents in Laurel are still without gas after a major gas outage in the area over the President's Day weekend.
WJLA's Richard Reeve tweeted Monday that BGE said about 10 percent of the 400 homes affected by the gas outage have service again, but some customers would have to wait until Tuesdsay.
On Tuesday morning, Reeve tweeted that 289 of 423 customers have service back, with 80 percent of the damaged gas main now fixed.
